Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the declined 1.74% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Kri-Kri Milk (AT:), which rose 2.21% or 0.45 points to trade at 20.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Fais Symmetochon AE (AT:) added 1.43% or 0.05 points to end at 3.55 and BriQ Properties REIC (AT:) was up 1.01% or 0.03 points to 2.99 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metlen Energy & Metals (AT:), which fell 5.72% or 2.00 points to trade at 32.98 at the close. Austriacard Holdings AG (AT:) declined 4.45% or 0.31 points to end at 6.65 and Titan Cement International SA (AT:) was down 4.08% or 1.85 points to 43.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 101 to 19 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metlen Energy & Metals (AT:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.72% or 2.00 to 32.98.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 3.51% or 154.90 to $4,563.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 3.46% or 3.27 to hit $97.75 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 1.85% or 1.89 to trade at $103.78 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.15, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 99.78.
